sudo add-apt-repository ppa:chris-lea / libpgm
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:chris-lea / python-tornado
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libzmq1 libzmq-dev libpgm- 5.1 - 0 python-tornado
sudo pip install pyzmq ==2.1.4
sudo pip install ipython =0.13.1Run ipython notebook with pylab and figures inline at port 8888 (as default by the way):
Of course you need to have numpy, scipy, matplotlib in order to run notebook with pylab.
